Consett Academy - Double Classroom
Brief
Consett Academy required the installation of a double classroom with toilet facilities. The project also involved connecting all services from the existing school to the newly refurbished modular classrooms.

Challenges
One of the main challenges was the tight timeline, as the installation had to be completed during the half-term break. This required careful planning and coordination to ensure that all heavy machinery works were finished before the students returned to school. Additionally, the entrance area of the school needed to be enlarged to allow access and egress of modular buildings and a mobile crane.
Solution
The project team installed the cabins during the half-term break to ensure that all heavy machinery works were completed before the students returned to school. The internal and external works were completed to a high standard, with the classrooms looking in excellent condition. The client also requested to install their own ramp and steps, which added a unique touch to the modular buildings and was well-received by the client.
Outcome
The project was successfully completed within the required timeframe, with all the works, both internal and external, looking excellent.
